Hi All,
I am attempting my second VBAC in the next 4 weeks or so and cannot believe how much of a fight it seems to be in this area. My doctor says that he is supportive, but is bound by the theories of the practice. I plan to labor at home as long as possible like I did last time (CA is WAY more supportive of a VBAC). In the meantime, I have been searching for a midwife in this area to no avail. I live in the Great Bridge area of Chesapeake and have excellent insurance. Can anyone provide any professionals or advice? I know that I can do this as I have done it before and an SO tired of doctors trying to sway me into the ‘scheduled C’ because of their own wants/needs!
Thanks so much!!
